Awkward is not as good as Faking It. I stopped watching this mid season 5B on Amazon. I've watched all seasons prior and there just isn't any character development. Jenna is still Jenna.... I wouldn't call it coming of age since Faking It crosses boundaries and addresses more social issues in my opinion. I'm not surprised Awkward is cancelled but MTV should consider another season of Faking It. It is one of their best shows so far.

I am super old but I think this show is cute but it pisses me off that Jenna is apologizing for everything all the time lately. So she wrote about their break up. Big whoop di do. BUT Matty kept her hidden because he was emabarassed! No reason to be sorry Jenna!

I absolutley LOVE this show. I highly recommend. High school was fun for some, but not for all, and often it was riddled with awkward moments. In my opinion, this hits on alot of the high's and low's of the high school experience, and all of those moments that are truly awkward. If you are seeking something that is light and silly, then give this a try, but start with season1, episode 1.

When this show first came out I was hooked. I thought it was super funny and weird. Definitely found it Awkward as its title suits it. I love Jenna and Matty's on and off relationship! There were definitely moments that I hated specifically whenever things came down to being Jenna's fault. But overall, this show was AMAZING! It's full of great laughs, moments that are so deep in meaning, and simply just full of awkwardness! I loved it. Best of all, its great for binge watching.
